collaborative work of the school family center
- Funding from Daniel Freeman Hospital Foundation of $10,000 to support the
collaborative work of the school family center
- Funding from Kaiser Hospital Foundation of $10,000 to $20,000 yearly to
support the collaborative work of the school family center
- State of California Reading Excellence Award Grant (REA) for reading
support for 36 elementary schools. Awarded 36 out of 37 submitted grants ($200,000-$400,000 per school)
- Developed programs to bring outside volunteers into the schools who bring
special and needed expertise and support to the schools
